The United Sportsmen of Williston is a local chapter of the United Sportsmen of North Dakota. They attempt to be a link between all the local sportsmen groups in the area for legislative networking, establishing feeding programs, and sharing of ideas. UMUS has developed and is known for wildlife feeding program of raising a small grain crop, bailing it, and supplying the grains to supplement to natural feed. The group works to maintain local facilities such as the Lewis & Clark WMA rifle range and boat ramp, as well as hosts and provides input to the local Game & Fish advisory meetings. They also participate in youth programs such as the Hooked on Fishing program in the area.

Scholarship amount: $1000 -- multiple scholarships given
