Ruth Eder passed away in October of 2007. She was very gifted and talented in the arts. Many of her oil paintings hang in the homes of family and friends and at one time in the State Capitol Building as well. She was a beautiful singer and music was an important part of her life. She loved poetry, and she was also interested in culinary arts. Her granddaughter, Aislinn Larson-Egge, established this scholarship.
