Lois Schmitz Memorial Scholarship

Ted and his wife, Lois Schmitz. Two smiling, older Caucasian people. Both have white hair and thin, wire-frame glasses. The man is in a white shirt and the woman in a light blue jacket.

Lois was a secretary at the Williston School District Office for many, many years. She was a delight to be around. She was also a die-hard Coyote fan, especially when her children Wanda, Orell, and John, and her grandchildren – myself included, were involved in school activities.

This scholarship was established by Lois’ husband, Ted, when she passed away. After Ted died, their sons, John (and wife Cathy) and Orell (and his wife Cathy Mae) and their daughter, Wanda (and her husband Marty) have continued this endowment.

Scholarship amount: $1000
