The Snyders operated the Snyder Theatres in Williston. Both of them were very interested in music. Eleanor gave piano lessons until a few years before her passing. Jack played the clarinet in the Williston High School band and the Williston City Band until he had to move to California because of ill health. When they passed away, their four children used the memorials to establish this music scholarship.
