Noel and Geri Hanson Education Endowment

Noel and Geri Hanson have resided in Williston for over 40 years.  Noel established and managed the Trust Department for American State Bank and Trust Company in 1978, retired from the bank in 2005, and served on its Board of Directors from 2006 through 2019.  Noel passed away on January 28, 2020.

Geri worked at Craven Hagan Clinic/Mercy Medical Center in the medical records department and accounting department, retiring in 2004.

Over their years in Williston, Noel and Geri have enjoyed supporting and following WHS sports, band and choir concerts, drama productions and other Coyote activities.  Noel and Geri appreciate the education WPSD #1 provided their son David (Class of 1989), granddaughter Baylee (Class of 2017) and grandson Reed (Class of 2019).  Baylee and Reed each received scholarships through the Coyote Foundation, which inspired Noel and Geri to create the Noel and Geri Hanson Education Endowment with the Coyote Foundation to assist other students in furthering their education.
