Annie Barkie was a 1983 graduate of WHS and ran a successful cosmetology business named Annie’s on 5th Avenue for over 30 years. She was a fun-loving, caring person who enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved going to Coyote basketball and volleyball games and was known to never say no to a child selling something for a fundraiser.
Annie’s family created this scholarship to honor her legacy. Annie was passionate about the Coyote Foundation Scholarship program, and she spent many hours volunteering to raise money for local organizations.
