Annie was a 1983 graduate of Williston High School and graduated from Headquarters Hair Academy in Minot.
She ran a successful cosmetology business of Annie’s on 5th Avenue for over 30 years.
Annie fought a courageous battle with Brain Cancer until we lost her in May of 2017.
Her friends and family will always remember Annie as a fun-loving friend who would always bring a smile to anyone. She loved spending any time with her friends and family fishing, playing cards, and of course 17 years playing Bunko with the same group of friends.
Although she never had any children of her own, she had many children who called her Auntie Annie. She loved going to many Coyote basketball and volleyball games and never said no to a child selling something for a fundraiser.
She was passionate about the Coyote Foundation Scholarship Program; she dedicated many hours raising money for this and many other local organizations including Relay for Life.
This scholarship was created and funded by Annie's Bunko group: Sheila Haaland, Debbie Benth, Angie Ellingson, Cheryl Halvorson, Kelly Grubb Jeannotte, Terry Hansen, Gayle Caldwell, Kim Nice, Schelle Thomas, Sandra Odegard, and Kari Turnquist.
Scholarship amount: $500
