Anderson Family Scholarship

Ted and his wife, Lois Schmitz. Two smiling, older Caucasian people. Both have white hair and thin, wire-frame glasses. The man is in a white shirt and the woman in a light blue jacket.

The Anderson Family Scholarship was created due to the family's desire to give back to the students of Williston High School.  All five siblings in the Anderson Family graduated from WHS and all received scholarships from the Coyote Foundation upon graduation -- Sarah (2004), Mary Catherine (2005), Erin (2007), Mark (2009), and Rachel (2012).

The family highly values the education they received at WHS and the support they received from scholarships to help them advance their education and support them financially. They are all blessed to have careers that they love and they understand the importance of a strong education.

Their parents, Wayne and Jennifer, encouraged them to give back to their communities, and as such, they all entered "helping" professions in health care, education, and social work.

This scholarship is intended to support those who are interested in pursuing degrees in health sciences, education, or social work, including those attending school to become a paramedic or EMT.

Scholarship amount: $1000
