Funding for this scholarship was started by the WHS Class of ‘72 at its 50th Class Reunion. We have found that neither time nor distance has lessened the bonds of friendship established during our years at WHS. Through the years, many of our classmates have passed away, and we wanted to have a way to honor them by assisting a graduate of WHS who is intending to further their education in a technical or traditional school and is in need of financial assistance in pursuing his or her goals.
