The "Golden Heart" Scholarship

This scholarship was created by Colton Brown, a 2014 WHS graduate, for individuals who show tremendous virtue and characteristics throughout their high school  career and to help them pursue their future career goals and aspirations through a college education. Winners of this scholarship are the type of people who generate thoughts of kindness, are good-natured, care for others, are empathetic, display thoughtfulness, and are helpful, considerate, and ethical. Even when their world may be crashing down, they still show these characteristics.
Colton believes that having a golden heart is one of the greatest assets that a person can have. These characteristics can be tough to come by and aren’t always recognized in a day to day basis, thus the creation of this scholarship.

Scholarship Amount: $1,000
