Kim Pflepsen Memorial Scholarship

Ted and his wife, Lois Schmitz. Two smiling, older Caucasian people. Both have white hair and thin, wire-frame glasses. The man is in a white shirt and the woman in a light blue jacket.

Kim Pflepsen came to Williston from the state of Washington to become the school district's assistant superintendent in charge of finances. She was very influential in securing financing for the new Williston Middle School. Unfortunately, she died of cancer before the building was finished. She was a wonderful lady and loved by all who knew her.

When she passed away, her family and friends established a scholarship with the Coyote Foundation in her memory for a student going into the business field.

Scholarship amount: $1000
