This $250 Annie Barkie Memorial Scholarship is presented on behalf of Brian, Sheila, Alex, and Liz Haaland, in memory of their dear friend Ann Marie Barkie. She was like a part of their family, serving as God Mother to Elizabeth, and taking part in their wedding. She even joined them on family vacations, teasing that she needed her own room in their home.
The Haaland family wants to honor her legacy through this scholarship.
